Dr David Benjamin

Dr Benjamin graduated from Sydney University Medical School in 1958, completing his internship before going to England in 1961 for eye specialist training. This was completed at the Royal Eye Hospital London and Surrey, where he qualified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (ophthalmology).

On his return to Australia in 1970, Dr Benjamin resumed membership of the Australian College of Ophthalmologists (later to be known as the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists), commencing practice in the eastern suburbs and becoming a honorary visiting medical officer at the Prince of Wales Hospital. In 1997 he began attending the MetWest Eye Centre as a general ophthalmologist, reviewing patients with a wide range of eye conditions.
