Dr David Benjamin MB BS FRCS FRANZCO
I graduated from Sydney University Medical School in 1958 and did my internship at Royal North Shore Hospital before going overseas in 1961 for eye specialist training at the Royal Eye Hospital London and Surrey where I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Ophthalmology).
On my return to Australia in 1970 I commenced practice in the eastern suburbs and became an honorary visiting medical officer at the Prince of Wales Hospital.
In 1997 I joined the MetWest Eye Centre as a general ophthalmologist reviewing patients with a wide range of eye conditions and also attend to ocular emergencies on Friday afternoons.
My Dutch wife and I have two daughters, one living in Sydney and the other in The Netherlands.
